The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) allocates $100 million every fiscal year from 2022-2024 to the Strengthening Mobility and Revolutionizing Transportation (SMART) Grant Program, which is a program that provides grants to eligible public sector agencies to conduct demonstration projects focused on advanced smart community technologies and systems in order to improve transportation efficiency and safety.
