IRA: Putting Direct Pay into Action Webinar Recording

In this session, David EIchenthal, Senior Advisor for Policy Implementation and Delivery at the White House shared insights for how cities can use Direct Pay tax credits to transition toward a clean energy economy. City leaders including Elizabeth Babcock, Denver’s Executive Director of Climate Action, Sustainability and Resiliency; Doug Melnick, Chief Sustainability Officer of San Antonio; and Mayor Daniel Rickenmann of Columbia, SC also shared how their cities were implementing Direct Pay including Climate Action Plans and finance planning. We were also joined by Amy Turner, Director of the Cities Climate Law Initiative at the Sabin Center, who shared how cities can prepare to take full advantage of Direct Pay.
