Reconnecting Communities and Neighborhoods (RCN)
The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) allocated $3.2 billion over the next five years to the Reconnecting Communities and Neighborhoods (RCN) Grant Program formerly known as the Neighborhood Access and Equity Grant (NAEG) program, which is the first-ever federal program designed to reconnect communities that were previously cut off from economic opportunities by transportation infrastructure.

Railroad Crossing Elimination (RCE)
The Bipartisan infrastructure Law (BIL) provides more than $500 million in funding to the Railroad Crossing Elimination (RCE) Grant Program. The RCE program provides funding for highway-rail or pathway-rail grade crossing improvement projects that focus on improving the safety and mobility of people and goods.
Consolidated Rail Infrastructure and Safety Improvements (CRISI) Program
The Bipartisan infrastructure Law (BIL) provides $5 billion in funding to the Consolidated Rail Infrastructure and Safety Improvements (CRISI) Program. The CRISI program fund projects that improve the safety, efficiency, and reliability of intercity passenger and freight rail. This program leverages private, State, and local investments to support safety enhancements and general improvements to infrastructure.
