The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) is the largest investment in the resilience of physical and natural systems. It aims to make communities safer and infrastructure more resilient to the impacts of climate change and cyber-attacks, with an investment of over $50 billion. This includes funds to protect against droughts, floods and wildfires, in addition to a major investment in weatherization.

Promoting Resilient Operations for Transformative, Efficient, and Cost-Saving Transportation (PROTECT)

Under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), the Promoting Resilient Operations for Transformative, Efficient, and Cost-Saving Transportation (PROTECT) Grant Program received nearly $900 million to help communities ensure surface transportation resilience to natural hazards.

        Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) Program

        The Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) Grant Program is a competitive grant program that provides funding to states, local communities, federally recognized tribes, and territories to be used for projects that reduce or eliminate the risk of repetitive flood damage to buildings insured by the National Flood Insurance Program.
