Since the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) was passed four years ago, cities and towns across the country have been able to apply for competitive infrastructure funding at the national level which has removed barriers for many localities in receiving more robust funding to build safer streets, offer better transportation options, improve communities, and create jobs.
